After wandering through monasteries and mountains in Canada and Nepal, Tajikistan and China I am now based in the Highlands, Scotland.

For me, meditation is being in the present moment and learning to make a choice about what you want to pay attention to. By regularly practising meditation you can nurture compassion towards yourself and others.  These are the two areas I have seen the most profound changes in myself: my attentional ability and increased compassion toward myself and those around me. I teach a variety of different meditations, carefully picking out ones to suit who Iā€™m working with - some are very straightforward and body focused and others move more in the realm of imagination. I entered the stream of awakening with Theravaden Buddhism in 2011. This tradition remains close to my heart and and undeniably weaves itself through my teaching. I qualified with the British School of Meditation.

With an emphasis on breathing and meditation techniques I can support your practice through thoughtful and tailored lessons and courses. The aim is to train your body - promoting the natural responses that nourish positive physical and mental well-being.

I am also a qigong, open floor and 5rhythms student and these movement based practices influence my meditation sessions. I use gentle movement to ground us into our body. And beautiful sounds to aid the body relax and create flow.

Sessions together are only where it starts. They are designed for you to be able to take what you learn with you.

Moving towards a daily practice.

Thank you to the teachers that have inspired me to keep practising for the last thirteen years and for being part of the influencing force to set up Navigate Meditation: Ajahn Sona, Ram Chatlani, Ajahn Candasiri, Rupert Lander, John Grocott & Scott Donnison x
